Zip Lining with the Fam!!!
I took the whole family to a temporary zip line near our house. For most of us, it was our first time to go zip lining. It was so much fun. I was scared to go off the edge, but I was next to Tanner, and he had no problem jumping off the edge, so then I had to go! If an 8 year-old can do it, I can do it right? Once off the edge, I had it was so much fun!!! I think I will have to take Dave when he comes into town!
San Diego Vacation with Dave
Dave and I had a mini vacation together in San Diego, California. We stayed in the Sheraton on Harbor Island overlooking all of the boats and yachts in the Harbor with incredible views of San Diego. It was so nice. We had a very relaxing weekend away from the kids and work. Even when we had to sit for 5 hours waiting for my car to be repaired, it was nice just being together with no interruptions. My favorite part was watching the dogs and children play on the beach on Coronado Island! They were having so much fun. I also loved, as usual, Seaport Village - one of my favorite places to shop, eat, walk around and sit. I am looking forward to going back to San Diego with Mason and a few of his friends for his Sr. Graduation Trip.

Adoption Day
On March 19, 2012, Dave and I adopted Cashaye Monet Markel. This was a day we had long been waiting for. We are the proud parents of a 20 year-old! Welcome to our family, Cashaye.

Miguel Barrera Baptism Day
Miguel was baptized by Dave on March 17, 2012. There was a great turnout by people from his Ward. His mom and aunt came also. Miguel looked so happy. The missionaries did a great job putting the program together.

Blue Angels
The Blue Angels came to perform at the new St. George Airport on March 17, 2012. We had a great time in spite of the windy weather. It was fun watching Tanner watch the Blue Angels. He has been watching old video tapes of The Blue Angels since he was about three years old! He was so excited he couldn't contain himself when they started performing. He was even interviewed and quoted in the Salt Lake Tribune. He said "When I grow up I want to be a Blue Angels Pilot." Those who went: Chantel, Dave, Seth, Ciera, Cashaye, Miguel, Richard Gay, Zack and Tanner. It was a fun day.
