Ciera Graduates from Dixie State University

Ciera graduated with a degree in Business Management from Dixie State College.  After her graduation we had a pool party at my clubhouse.  Julie, Melissa and Emily were in town so they enjoyed the party with us.  Grandma and Grandpa Cable came down to celebrate with us also.

Zoo Time

We went to the St. Louis Zoo on a rainy day.  I had to get out of the town and into the city, and this is where we decided to go.  It was kind-of nice because not many people were there.  It was just a drizzly rain, and a little chilly, but we still had a nice time.

Elder Christopher Perkes

After Dave was released from the hospital for his blood clots, he got a little nervous about things and said he wanted a blessing.  We had just driven by the church, and I noticed that the missionaries were there.  I suggested we turn around and get a blessing from the missionaries.  We walked in and saw Christopher Perkes (one of Chase's best friends) who is on a mission in this area.  I had heard he had been transferred to an area 30 minutes away, but had not idea he would be in Rolla that day.  He is a District Leader and had come down to do a training.  It was so fun to see him.  He looked fantastic!  He gave Dave the blessing which was an extra special experience to have a boy we watched grow up turn into such an amazing man.
