Ciera invited Cashaye, Analese and me over for dinner.  I love this adorable granddaughter!  She is always so happy!

Mason Attends the Las Vegas Temple

We were able to go to the Las Vegas Temple to take out Mason's endowments.  It is a beautiful temple.  I especially love the center courtyard.  It is beautiful landscaped and has very nice water features.  It is a very peaceful place to be.  It was a very good day.  Mason had a lot of good questions and seemed to enjoy it.  Ciera, Seth, Craig and I were able to attend with him.  After the temple we went to Applebee's for dinner.  It was a really nice night.  The St. George temple was closed for cleaning.  That's why we drove to Vegas. 

Funny Zack . . .

This was a conversation between Zack and Dave:

Zack (when he came in to grab a snack):  "Me, Juan and Levi are having a complication."

Dave:  "What kind of a complication?   Something I can help you with?" 

Zack:  "No, it's the kind to see who can raise the most money the fastest, shoveling snow." 

Dave:  "Oh!  You mean a COMPETITION!" 

Zack:  "Yeah, that's what I said, a constipation." 

Dave:  Still laughing at him as he shook his head and walked out the door.

Visiting Cherie

I was lucky enough to go to Katelyn's endowment in the Bountiful Temple with Cherie and the rest of our family.  It was also an opportunity to be with Cherie and spend some quality time with her.  While I hope this isn't the last time I see her in this life, at least now I feel at peace knowing that we were able to spend some time together.  She is such an inspiration to me.

Analese's First Birthday!!

Analese turned one on January 23!  I was fortunate enough to be in town to celebrate with her.  Cashaye and Miguel threw a fun birthday party for her at Miguel's parent's house.  Virginia made some yummy tostadas.  Analese was adorable.  She got so excited opening every present.  She especially loved the jammies we gave her.  When we tried to take them from her to have her open another gift, she grabbed it back and rubbed it against her cheek.  She is all girl!!!  She loved the book that Ciera gave her and clapped her hands and squeeled when she opened it.  She is smart, beautiful and always so happy.  I love her so much.  

Zack is a Teenager!!!

Zack celebrated his 13th birthday.  We celebrated by going to dinner at Colton's Steakhouse
