Ben and Lyndsey's Wedding

We were able to go to Salt Lake to see my niece, Lyndsey marry Ben.  The wedding was very beautiful, and Lyndsey and Ben looked very happy!  It was fun to see my family.

Mason's Grad Trip

Mason and I went on our traditional Grad Trip celebrating his graduation from high school.  He chose to go to California with Trevor Cox and Tyler Strehlow.  We stayed in Huntington Beach, California.  The first day we arrived around 3:00 and checked into the hotel and then headed out to the beach.  The boys went skim boarding and boogy boarding at Huntington Beach, and Tyler and Mason were buried in the sand and then Trevor went to work showing his artistic skills . . .

The next morning we went to Venice Beach.  They played in the water some more and dug in the sand.  We walked around the shops and bought some $8 sunglasses!!  There were some interesting people at this beach . . .  After the beach we went to the Angels v. Giants game! 

The last day in California, we went bowling, then to Dave & Busters for lunch and game playing.  After that we went to the beach one last time.  Trevor got stung in his foot by a sting ray and had to go to the Lifeguard Headquarters to soak it in hot water for about an hour.  At 9:30 that night we went back to Huntington Beach because the boys wanted to see high tide.  They said the waves were huge!  It was fun seeing the campfires on the beach.  The weather wasn't that great - very windy and cold, but the boys didn't care.  They loved playing in the ocean.  We had a great time!
