Chase & Joryn

My friend in Missouri, Michelle Boehme, has a beautiful daughter named Joryn who lives in Provo.  We had been trying to get Joryn and Chase together for a long time.  They would never call each other. About six months ago, Michelle sent me a picture of her 4 year-old daughter (named Mason) eating her birthday cake in her feet jammies on the kitchen counter. I texted back saying how I was totally going to do that on my next birthday - feet jammies and all. She responded saying that Joryn said if I do that, she will marry my son. So, Joryn and Chase finally connected about a month or so ago, and they have met once. So, I decided now was the time . . .  I texted the pictures to Chase, Ciera and Michelle. They al thought it was very funny!

Miguel Turns 21

We celebrated Miguel's birthday by going to dinner at Ernesto's and then having cake and ice cream at home. Miguel and Cashaye went to the movies together after that.

Christmas 2014

Everyone was so excited for Christmas. We decided to eat Mexican food for Christmas Eve. We went to Poncho & Lefty's. Then we went home and watched Christmas movies. Christmas morning, we woke everyone up at 7:00 to open presents. I made pancakes and bacon for breakfast. Then I cleaned up and got ready for Mason's skype call. Tyler was able to come up and say hi towards the end of the call. Mason looked happy and is committed to working really hard his last 2 1/2 months on the mission. After the skype call, I just cleaned up some more and had a very relaxing day.

Early Christmas

Chase was going to Texas to be with his Dad for Christmas, and Ciera and Seth were going up to Salt Lake to spend Christmas with Seth's family. So, we had a Christmas celebration with them the Sunday before Christmas. We had the traditional ham dinner and our traditional talent show. After that, everyone opened their presents from their siblings, and Ciera and Seth opened gifts from Dave and me. It was a fun night.

Orchestra Concert

Tanner had his first Orchestra Concert at Tonaquint Intermediate School.  He was super excited and did a fantastic job.  He was so happy that so many people came to listen - Ciera, Seth, Cashaye, Miguel, Analese, Audri, Juan, Zack, and of course Dave and I.

Juan Turns 16

We celebrated Juan's 16th birthday by going to Buffalo Wild Wings where they embarrassed him by making him wear a silly hat and having the entire restaurant yell Happy Birthday to him. He was embarrassed, but he enjoyed the attention. After that we went home and ate cake and ice cream and opened presents. He was especially excited about his new penny board. We also watched Date Night with him which is what Ciera and Seth gave him.
