Baseball Game

We got free tickets to the Springfield Cardinals Game for the Military Appreciation Night.  It was a fun game, and afterwards they even did fireworks.  Hot dogs, cotton candy, frozen lemonade, nachos, soda pop and gatorade.  That's what baseball games are all about!

Independence Day

Happy Independence Day!

We spent the evening with the Collins down the street.  It was their four year-old daughter's (Naomi) birthday.  She thought the fireworks were for her birthday.  We ate hot dogs, pasta salad, watermelon, corn on the cob and roasted s'mores.  The older boys lit off fireworks and then we watched the city fireworks from their house.  It was a fun night and what the 4th of July should be.

Colorado Here We Come

Sarah asked us to come help her get things ready for her baby that is due in October.  We asked Seth and Ciera to meet us there so they could do fun things with the kids while Dave and I worked at Sarah's house.  We took time to do some fun things with them also.  It was a nice trip and made us want to live in Denver again.  We drove by all of our old houses and the old elementary schools and went to Waneka Lake where we have many happy family memories.  Fun times!  It was the first time Seth had been to Colorado.  I think he really liked it and thought it was very pretty.  Bo and Cabo got to go on the trip also.

Another Six Flags Day

Juan, Zack, Tanner, Aaliyah and I all went to Six Flags in St. Louis.  The weather was perfect, and we had a lot of fun at the water park before we went on the rides.  Fun day!  The boys went by themselves on rides while Aaliyah and I went on the little rides.  That's why I don't have pictures of the boys.
