Surprise!

Michelle Boehme and I threw a surprise birthday party for Denise Larsen.  She was definitely surprised, and it was so nice getting to know her and the other ladies better.

Human Foosball

The Young Men and Young Women in the Rolla Ward played Human Foosball.  Juan and Zack had such a great time.  It was a fun night with a great group of kids!

Juan is Ready for Church

Juan is looking so handsome in his new clothes for church, that I had to take a picture.

Juan's First Day of School

Juan started 8th Grade at Rolla Junior High School.  He had such a great time.  He was very nervous about going to a new school, but he came home so happy saying he had met so many new friends and that everyone was fighting over sitting next to him.  He loved it!

Juan Visits Fort Leonard Wood

I took Juan to Fort Leonard Wood to see where Dave works and let him tour the museum.  We went to lunch at La Familia after.  He loved having time with us alone and seeing what Dad does every day.  We even helped Dave put together packets in preparation for a class he was teaching.

First Snow of 2013

It snowed on January 1, 2013.  Juan, Tanner and Zack had never been sledding before.  They had so much fun.  It was great hearing their screams of joy.  It was cold, and Juan was in shorts, but he didn't care.  He loved it!

Road Trip to St. Louis

We took the boys to St. Louis to see the Arch.  Unfortunately, after the two hour drive and standing in line in the cold, we got in just as they sold the last ticket to go up into the Arch.  It was a fun drive though.  We took them to the Boathouse to eat dinner before heading home.  On the way home we decided to drive through Jellystone Park to look at the Christmas lights.  It was prettier than the pictures can show.  It was another good day even though it was very cold.  We warmed up a little by racing from the Arch to the car.

Meramec Caverns

A trip to Meramec Caverns.  Mom, Dad, Juan, Zack and Tanner.  It was a really fun afternoon.  The temperature in the cave was about 52 degrees which felt pretty warm because it was snowy and 32 degrees outside.
