Tanner Meets His Birth Mom

I contacted Tanner's birth mom.  She was so excited that I called her and so grateful.  She cried a lot and asked a lot of questions.  We scheduled a time when she could meet Tanner for the first time since he was 18 months old.  We met at the park.  Tanner was swinging on the swing when she arrived.  I gave her a hug, and he jumped off the swing and yelled "Mom!!"  and ran into her arms.  It was a touching moment and confirmed to me how strong the mother child bond is.  She and Tanner sat and talked for about 30 minutes.  He talked her ear off.
